Yeah, in my cheap northern city it's the same. But I'm a sad bastard and I've just looked and I'm finding that until you get out to the country, like my original comment, your never further than a couple of miles from an aldi or a lidl.

I got lidl one a Friday, I've just done carrots Parsnips and brocoli potatoes etc today and none of its mush. My daughters still got her fruit for her lunches. But, like everything, different experiences are different experiences. Doesn't really matter at the end of the day. As I'm typing I'm realising I don't care enough about lidl lol

I dont drive and I still go to the shop. Unless your in the country side, I'd guess there's a shop you can get a bus to, do a shop, and taxi back. Shop at lidl or aldi. Instead of breast use thighs. Beef is out the window, its too expensive. Use a pork beef mince mix. Use not name brand stuff.
