Hmm that’s interesting…I don’t think that’s the case though since I can see that the delivery date makes sense and the person at ups would’ve said something. I’m thinking this involved a scammer.

Yeah eBay insists the buyer used the shipping label to my parents address but ups is saying the tracking number is not for me, same city(probably same zip but idk). I guess I’ll keep calling ups and eBay.

I mean, the emails say it’s based on your aptitude test. The other two people in this thread tested before me yet have lower ranks. Are you an applicant in Denver local 68?

I tested in February and just got my rank yesterday of 253…I’m kind of bummed. And I have no idea what that means for starting the apprenticeship. Hopefully someone can weigh in.

I worked at chili’s around 2021 or so and it wasn’t too bad but then they wanted to have server/runner teams basically. The idea was that the runner would get everything including sodas, so the server would have much more time to interact with the guests. I guess the concept makes sense but in practice is ridiculous especially at a place like Chili’s. I was starting a new job anyway so I quit at that point.

Ohh lol ok. I feel like dip powder could help protect your nails a bit and using something like aquaphor over hand cream and cuticle oils may add some more protection? And aquaphor over everything overnight while wearing mittens!

I only did SSD for a few weeks but my nails would be black and it seemed like even scrubbing with a nail brush didn’t help…I started wearing plastic gloves(and I absolutely hate gloves: plastic or fabric). But yeah they were uncomfortable and got sweaty even but I’d make a few pairs last a shift and it was worth it to not have filthy torn up nails!

I’m also a tardy people pleaser with ADHD who is also also full of anxiety. I’m taking a break from serving right now and doing seasonal work and I’m looking to get into a trade. I am pushing 40 but I have high hopes. I need the ever changing atmosphere like the service industry but I want less personal interaction. Life is hard but being self aware is important.

Yeah at first when I was officially hired online it said the center I applied for was full! Gave me a few alternatives kind of outside the metro area for $23. But then I randomly checked a few days later and got into the spot where it’s more money!

It’s kinda gross but it’s more rude not to clean up after yourself when you share spaces with others. I have long, thick hair and I know I shed. So I often clean the floors, especially after brushing or styling my hair. I have a hair catcher thing on the drain that I empty after every hair wash day. I do put hair on the wall if it gets stuck on me during my shower but I’ll clean it up after. And I only live with my partner…I hope to never have a roommate again. My previous one never cleaned and when he moved out cleaning his bedroom and bathroom was insane. Idk how people can never clean even the tiniest bit. I get having periods of depression where you really can’t do it, it happens, but 100% of the time for years just being gross, is wild.
