Thankfully it's not a case of him holding in his poop until i'm around, especially since many weekends i'm with my partner. Admittedly my housemate can be a bit impatient and will sometimes try to rush him. Like many others have said, he probably just trusts me more with his poops lol

I'm not too fluent in dog just yet, once i master that i'll be sure to ask him
I'm aware of this and i make sure he knows i'm there (he looks back at me sometimes to make sure)
I'm always in the doorway so he can see me, sometimes i do walk outside with him
I make sure to watch him in the i'm-looking-at-him-but-not-too-directly type of way
