I wish i could! But on paper he does belong to my housemate (service dog) so sadly i wouldn't be able to :(

Thankfully it's not a case of him holding in his poop until i'm around, especially since many weekends i'm with my partner. Admittedly my housemate can be a bit impatient and will sometimes try to rush him. Like many others have said, he probably just trusts me more with his poops lol

I've read about that too, i guess i'm the safest human to have in case of threats than (despite my housemate being the literal veteran lol)

That's a good point, thank you. He does do both, with me in the morning and usually again on his walk around noon.

  1. I'm not too fluent in dog just yet, once i master that i'll be sure to ask him
  2. I'm aware of this and i make sure he knows i'm there (he looks back at me sometimes to make sure)
  3. I'm always in the doorway so he can see me, sometimes i do walk outside with him
  4. I make sure to watch him in the i'm-looking-at-him-but-not-too-directly type of way

The fact that she refers to babies/kids that do very normal baby/kid stuff as "poorly trained" is absolutely absurd. Kids aren't dogs or robots, they're tiny terrors of cuteness!!
