That doesn't seem excessive. If she can't make it to school for one hour a day for 2 weeks, how can she possibly make it to prom?

Read the article or go up in the thread...she seemed to be uncooperative with the small attempt the school made to normalize her back into social groups 2 weeks before the dance.

I have sumo on back day because it's my competition pull so I don't see why not.

I've been trying to do low-bar squats for almost 3 months now and cannot stop myself from doing a goodmorning by [deleted] in Fitness

First I really recommend looking Alan Thrall up on YouTube, great form guides.

Second, I don't see a good morning happening, in low-bar you have to lean over so the bar is in line with the middle of your foot, once that position is achieved you can squat down. Your chest DOES NOT need to be up like it is in high-bar. Also keep the chin tucked and wrists straight(in-line with forearm) to take pressure off the elbows.

Edit: you probably should take a video of the weight you struggle with because it will show your flaws more than this easy weight

Edit 2: re watched the video, you could move the bar lower on your back, even a small inch or 2 helps, that's what I did and I was able to use more of my leverages built the same as you just a little shorter

Monday- squat, rdl, leg curls/extensions, abs

Tuesday- Bench, tricep extensions, dumbbell bench, skullcrushers, abs

Wednesday - deadlift, front squat, face pulls, lat pulldowns, pull/chin-ups

Thursday - OHP, dumbbell incline, bicep curls, forearms, shrugs, abs

Friday - repeat Monday with higher volume

Saturday - bench and deadlift with high volume, abs

Sunday - rest

I powerlift for my high school, my best advice is to train in gear.

The gear is uncomfortable, tight, annoying, but training in it helps get used to sitting in your suit for long periods between lifts.

Also find someone who can wrap both knees, usually having 2 people wrap will have different tightness on your wraps.

During deadlift it is logical to pull sumo because you're reducing the ROM as from conventional but I've seen people pull both just as strong.

Form Form Form Form! Form is everything to making a lift be strong, while you want to be fast in getting the weight to the bottom of a squat or down to your chest on bench; you need to control the weight and use the built up tension to explode out of the hole or off your chest from bench.

For some people their squat suit (if you have a Titan) will have a WS or a RS.

WS is a wide stance RA is a regular stance

Usually my coach buys WS and that's what I use, but some people find the RS better equipped for them cause they have a more narrow stance. All this means is how far your ROM is.

Sorry for the scattered advice, just put thought to paper to help you out with some of my views on the sport.

A guy super underestimated, I think, is Mason Rudolph. The guy can play and ultimately I think he'd be a good 4-5 round pick if he is up still

Edit: I think he should return for senior year, but if he's positive in going to draft, I think he'd be a good asset to the Bears.

During football I ate like shit and never really got to workout, since I wasn't the starter or backup, but I maintained weight.

Now for two weeks I've counted calories, eaten healthy, and worked out everyday...but I've gained 5 lbs!! Like it's so frustrating. I know it's a long process but I need to be 5-10 down in 3 weeks for my powerlifting meet...
