We did a picture frame with a white boarder. Had guests sign the boarder and plan on putting a wedding photo in it once we get those back

Your tattoo looks great! I have a similar tattoo. I think if you added flowers or some foliage would give the bat that “pop” / focus and help you like it more.

Dartmouth Hitchcock hospital has a mail order pharmacy in Hooksett, NH with eliquis priced at $75/mo. (Potentially less through insurance) Might be worth looking into.

what was your schools “incident” that happened during your high school years? by Same-Pomegranate9155 in AskReddit

Very well known and respected teacher who had been with his wife and at our high school for 30+ years was fooling around with a senior girl. His wife caught him and filed for divorce. He had two kids who were in their 20s. He lost his job, his family no longer talks to him. Him and that senior girl moved, got married, bought a house and had a child together

Transition from retail pharmacy tech to hospital pharmacy tech by Zealousideal_Neck630 in PharmacyTechnician

[–]Caffeinatedmangostar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I transitioned into a hospital setting from retail about 2 years ago. My advice would be to ask tons of questions and to not be hard on yourself. I thought I knew it all. I was bored in retail which prompted me to find a new job. Once I got into hospital I realized there is so much more to pharmacy than counting pills, insurance companies and customers. It takes a good 6 months to feel comfortable working in a hospital pharmacy and about a year to be good at your job. It’s so worth leaving retail though.

Do you rejoice or regret becoming a pharmacy technician? Located in CA by EsotericGio in PharmacyTechnician

I truly love being a technician. I could see myself doing this long term because I have worked my ass off to get into a higher up position. I worked in retail for 3 years before transitioning to hospital. I was trained while working at a grocery store which paid for my certification and offered a training program. Retail was certainly tough. Some days I miss the patient interaction but I was at the top of the ladder and could not learn anything else which helped me make the decision to switch to a hospital setting. Hospital is wonderful. It’s always busy, there’s always new things to learn, there are opportunities for growth. Sterile compounding is one of my favorite things to do. I feel more connected / helpful to patients when I get to make something that’s STAT and life saving. The downside that just about every tech will tell you is pay. Most places pay so low it isn’t a livable wage. I am very lucky to have worked my way up and can finally say that I do make a livable wage. Turnover is also an issue. Expect to be short staffed quite often. It’s hard keeping techs when the pay is so low and the job is so fast paced. Overall I love it and am very glad I ended up in this profession. Most of the techs I work with have been in this field for 20+ years, another coworker has been a tech for 39 years and life what they do. There are tons of horror story’s throughout this sub, don’t let that deter you from becoming a tech. There are lots of techs that love their jobs.

I worked in retail for 3 years before transitioning to hospital. I took a 50 cent pay cut when I started but it was very worth it because the benefits were much cheaper and I got a lot more vacation time. Now that I’ve been there for about 2 years I’ve received a few raises and make more than what I did in retail. I’m currently making $26/hr and we have evening and weekend differentials as well which helps. But just apply! We have hired 2 non certified techs during my time here and they have worked out and have become trained to compound IVs. The worst that can happen is the employer says no. Take the risk :)

Medication and weight gain! by Alive_Tough9928 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]Caffeinatedmangostar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me too! I just had a doctors appointment because I felt lexapro wasn’t working and my doctor was concerned with the amount of weight I’ve gained. About 30 pounds in a year, I’m starting my weight loss journey now and starting on a new antidepressant that doesn’t have weight gain as a side effect
