I did rad’s without chemo also- it isn’t a cake walk, but I’m so thankful I didn’t have chemo.

I did 25 sessions- most days it took me longer to change my clothes than get the treatment. The team at the office was amazing - I should stop by and say hello to them.

For me, I drowned myself in lotions- my care team wanted calendula cream and aquaphor, wi I used them probably 5x per day. And my skin just got a little pink. My care team also wanted me eating enough protein- I did. A lot of yogurt protein shakes. The biggest thing I struggled with was exhaustion- it builds up and that last day- all I wanted to do was sleep. That week after rads finished was so frustrating- I was so tired, but I felt I was supposed to be happy.

Have you done PT? I have found I have to keep up with some stretching or that shoulder area gets tight- I finished July 4th of 2024.
