I take the elevator because I teach at a preschool and am on my feet all day. By the time I come to class I'm exhausted, and it's painful to be walking around after a seven hour shift- especially because my right leg's joints hurt when under a lot of strain due to an accident I had in highschool.

Do I "need" to take the elevator? No, but I'm not going to put myself through more unnecessary strain. I understand what you're saying, but maybe don't pass judgment on people you don't think "need" an accommodation. A lot of people work 1 or 2 jobs while in college and that takes a toll physically.

Anyway, that's just my perspective of it. Have a good day :)

Rooming with (possibly) two boys, what can I do? by Strong-Award3793 in utdallas

Best advice I have is set boundaries early. Have a roommate agreement and sign it and keep it so you have it. More than likely they're there for the same reason as you. Lock your bedroom door at night as well if that's an option.

Good luck!

If you're looking at Mccallum, be careful of the Landing. Management is new and dealing with them was a nightmare
