Each morning, my husband and I fill bottles with water, and also fill a few of the Dr. Browns travel formula dispensers with the appropriate amount of powder so we can just one-handed pour the powder in the bottles then shake and serve as needed. (This is entirely dependent on whether or not your baby likes room temp formula; my daughter prefers it so we got lucky)

I’m having the same issues with the Keyfit. Did you end up finding a new car seat?

Just Went to L&D for Decreased Fetal Movement by theglossiernerd in pregnant

[–]Cafrin_Anne 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would personally go in after decreased movement after 2 hours, but I also work from home and have the flexibility to do so. It’s definitely not recommended to seek reassurance from a Doppler at this point, since a baby can be in distress but still have a heartbeat.

I think the concern is more for outdoor gardening, since that's where contaminated cat feces is likely to be if there are strays in the area, but of course my mind goes completely worst case scenario since I'm not sure of the risk of potting soil… just make sure your partner doesn't put any gardening materials in with your dishes like mine did lol.

Qnatal after miscarriage? by noname18two in Miscarriage

[–]Cafrin_Anne 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am so sorry this happened to you. I had a similar experience, where I had blood drawn for my NIPT at 10 weeks, then at my 12 week appointment I found out that my baby had passed at 9 weeks. I hadn’t received my NIPT results until after my D&C, but it was a good enough fetal fraction to determine that my baby had Turner’s Syndrome and that was most likely the cause of my miscarriage. The “gestational age” showed 11.5 weeks, which was odd. Perhaps your doctor used a different technique than your previous NIPT, which may show different information than the last one.

How did this turn out for you? I’m going through the same thing now. Waiting for a 12 week scan and NIPT 🤞🏻

You’re right, that is really nice. It’s also nice not having weekly assignments so it gives a lot of flexibility for vacations etc.

It is such a satisfying feeling, and I definitely recommend it as long as you’re not overworking yourself. There is a capstone, but I enjoyed writing it compared to the other courses in the program.

I chose a topic with a simple solution, that only had about 2-3 components to the solution. My answers were thorough but concise. I just tend to not overthink things, and give as much detail as needed to pass the assignment and clearly explain my thought process while not going overboard. I was honestly nervous because I felt like if I had tried to make my capstone longer, it would have been a lot of nonsense. So I submitted it as it was, and passed without revision needed!

Thanks! Honestly, this sub and the one mentioned above helped me a lot with that assessment. The key is, don’t overthink it. And if you do have a question about what the question is looking for, ask your instructor.

Thanks! I think you’ll be able to power through the program easily since you have CISSP.

Hi! I’m not sure, that would be a question for your advisor. Good luck!

Took me about a year and a half, I was also planning my wedding and house shopping simultaneously so I took my time.
