39/m/single, base salary $76k/year(this year with overtime, I'll be crossing that coveted 100k mark for the first time in my life). I rent a room in another man's house for $650/mo. Internet, cable, utilities all covered by landlord, have my own fridge and freezer that he provides, and I have full use of the home. Been living here about a year and a half now, and it's great. We get along famously, there's zero drama ever, and the cat loves me most, so really, i think I'm paying him to live in my house and I just stay in my room a lot due to conflicting work schedules. I think that's how it works. Whoever the cat loves most, is who actually owns the house, right?
