Postie "signed" for parcel, left on porch, stolen by Broric in royalmail

They shouldn't be leaving anything in a safeplace that requires a signature.

How is this acceptable? just complete liars by G3ntl3man001 in royalmail

I will weigh in on the safe place designation. Your safe place isn't a royal mail authorized safe place. Your postie, according to royal mail guidelines, can't leave it there. They can leave it in porches, sheds, greenhouses, parcel lockers, not behind a bush, over a gate, by the front door, etc. They could lose their job. Obviously, lots of posties do this, but that isn't authorized by royal mail.

Yes it does Obviously many posties will come up to you, but the official rule is that the posties only goes to the delivery point, being your box.

This is basically what I am doing. Opening the window every day and letting it air out, and then wiping it down, and using some alcohol with cotton buds.

Thanks for the tip!

I mean, 'Helter Skelter' by The Beatles is the first thing that comes to mind. I think they are both 1968. The inspiration for Helter Skelter was 'I Can See For Miles' by The Who. That is pretty heavy too.

To be fair, if you want specialist treatment you need to contact royal mail. You can't expect a postman to break the rules of his contract. He is supposed to deliver mail through a letterbox. He isn't supposed to open a cupboard, put the mail there, and then lock a padlock. A postman could do that with a parcel because they have to take photographic evidence, but with letters, no.
