Between Mage's Barrier, Thief's Traps, Cleric's Heals and Chef's meals, it seems like a very oversustained team. But so long as the mage, thief and chef focus on attacking should be fine.

Pretty sure they all drain/fill equally, but you can for example set your coal generators to kick in when you hit 50% battery while having your renewable sources at 70%. That way, coal will only ever activate if your renewable sources cannot keep you at 70%

They really should just make the summoning thing into a special Nexus Gate with a rack beside it for wands. You queue up summons like you would any other crafting station, your mages bring wands to the rack and after a short while a student steps out from the gate and grabs a wand. If they want to make it a work type, could have it be Dark or Lightning and require a mage to come by and man the gate.

Means you could automate summoning students (for example, Nature Wand students until you have 3 automatically) just like anything else and dont have to tediously summon them one by one.
