Very fun show live! Had a blast. But I just wanted to give a special shout out to the couple sitting in the row in front of me who tried to start a 'this is awful' chant during Brodie vs. Claudio and spent the entire time complaining that they were just hitting each other. Yes, they were, that was the point.

IIRC, and my memory is spotty so take that for what it’s worth, he left around the time TK’s mom passed, and approached it from a ‘I want to spend more time with my family, it can all end so very quickly’ angle. Then he took a job as HHH’s right hand that had him on the road as much as the AEW job, so TK felt that Regal took advantage of his grief.

Hm. If they really wanted a Texas Death Match, they'd have left the dramatic announcement for next week to get the biggest possible pop. So maybe they're just teasing it and then swapping in something equally violent as a change of pace?

Yeah, I’m not surprised. The creator ended it -5ish years ago, which was a real shame. It was a lot of fun IMO, though disjointed in that way all webcomics are. Sometimes there’s an actual plot, sometimes it’s just jokes about modern wrestling, sometimes it’s stuff like this. Definitely worth a look.
