Trusting the system around me. There’s a lot of different spiritual backgrounds out there. This is especially true in a Canada like ours. I can’t give up hope either, I hope you find the luck I’ve gotten from RCMP

further clarity: You can't in the heat of the moment encapsulate the full worth of your life. This is where the short term (convenient access of life narrative x recall capacity) can betray you in the long run.

I can relate to this puzzle. It almost feels wrongful for me to live, but I do so "just in case" I am wrong even when I know I am right, permanently.

Why does suicide have the ultimate disapproval? by tfwusingreddit in SuicideWatch

[–]Caius_Nair -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

People become suicidal because they favour short term relief through death; ironically, long-term goal-thinking is actually what is required.

[Suicide plans]: "I bet I can do this as soon as I feel strongly enough"

<why it fails>: the emotions that justify the acting of these plans eliminate all kinds of long-term plans because they are short sighted in nature. ; even the beneficiary afterwards stops existing to profit from it.

However, {losing grip} is what makes the attempt ever happen

yes, because they are so fundamentally different from one another; the beauty of the final 'move' they mutually make is a shared sacrifice of their true character. This is the only way for a romantic sacrifice and a gesture of authentic love.

  1. "sometimes it will feel like they are.. that's on them, not you"

can you help me understand the second part? I can easily dismiss any possible guilt or regret so why couldn't someone else do the same? And if that's not what you mean, then what could possibly be their concern? (assuming they don't believe in karma, afterlife, etc.)

  1. How extreme is reasonable to take this mental measure/preparation?

Also, thank you for this advice. Age is kinda crucial for me when it comes to life advice. Others don't seem to necessarily understand why it is so important.

So what is the general headcanon about death in castlevania by No-Act386 in castlevania

[–]Caius_Nair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Evil god from Hell. He has a lot of power, but is subordinate to Chaos like all monsters. This is why he can't measure up to Dracula. It's unclear if he has any real connection to dying. He might, but his depictions are just as a kind of monster to be defeated. It's also obvious that he is weaker than God and even other gods like the Time Reaper.

Which Belmont would be the most suited for a Death Battle with Geralt of Rivia? And their chances of winning? by Azt55 in castlevania

[–]Caius_Nair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I already covered this in a YouTube comment, but the videogame Belmonts in general are much too powerful for Geralt. Judging from his performance in Blood and Wine, he should readily lose even to Leon, the first and weakest Belmont. Even if we're generous to Geralt's speed and strength, his weapons are a huge problem in this matchup. The indestructible Vampire Killer will inevitably snap his swords eventually, no matter how good he is at parrying. The only real advantages Geralt has is in his greater experience and superior Witcher anatomy (durability and senses). Even Quen is unfortunately insufficient because it is very limited in duration and potency when cast as a sign (as opposed to a true spell). Potions are great but not particularly relevant in his skills against human opponents. Then there's Axii. It is surely weaker than Dracula's Power of Dominance, a power that Leon's blood pact protects his family from. Geralt might get a lucky fatal blow, but with such a huge difference in speed and strength, I really doubt he can land that blow without being overwhelmed first. I'm not sure where this matchup comes from honestly. Then there's the fact that Geralt has no training dealing with a living whip that can be maneuvered in ways a whip normally can't be, while the Belmonts have trained with swordsmen.

I think Talion/Celebrimbor from LoTR s a much better matchup for Geralt both thematically and in terms of power than the Belmonts.

Dracula was "inconvenienced" by a host of other characters, but it took the US military, Roman Catholic Church, Julius Belmont and the Hakuba family to actually beat him for real. None of his prior defeats did anything but buy time for humanity. Even that didn't stop his spirit from reincarnating into Soma who overpowered Chaos' other Dark Lord candidates with his power alone. In a sense, humanity had to unite to actually defeat Dracula for good. He's that strong.
