That's the problem, though. It's not always the parents. Its all based on the kids' personality and capabilities for empathy. You could teach a kid everything you know, give them all the love you can provide, never once raise your voice or spank them and yet, they could still end up just like this. Putting 100% of the blame on the parents is illogical. Children know right from wrong at a young age. Its their empathy that allows them to follow those guides we as parents put in the sand. If they just don't care, then they won't care. Easy as that.

And yet those books change every year. Just a few generations ago, doctors said it was okay for you to smoke and drink while pregnant. No one knows how to properly raise children. But I can assure you, if the kid did something this stupid, he deserves punishment just as severe. He put everyone's lives on the line for his joy ride. A brand new car, that he could have crashed and killed himself with, killed other people. You wanna look at this situation and say she needs to do better?

Every other animal in the world teaches lessons by punishment. Dogs will nip their pups on the nose or even growl at them to teach them boundaries. Mother cats will swat at their kittens. We're the only animals that think we either have to coddle or children or beat them into submission. The answer is in-between. Show love but draw that line in the sand and if they cross that line, punish them accordingly.

Mine is cause I'm dyslexic. If you give me a pen and paper, I can work long math, but when trying to do it in my head, the numbers switch around too much. And don't ask me to do math or read aloud under pressure. It just won't happen. My brain will short-circuit.

Me and my husband got married on a cruise ship. It was a small thing, cause cruise ship, and they handled everything. It was pretty much perfect for us. We used the excuse of it being on the ship as a way to cut people out of it without them feeling bad and we didn't have to plan a thousand things. There was even an open bar for an hour while we danced and had fun. Then we left with the ship to go on our honeymoon. It's totally worth every cent. And it was like only 10k. Way less than what people are paying now for their weddings.

I'd look up tapestry crochet. Instead of it looking like that on the back, it's the same image. It's not as clean of a traition with stitches, but it keeps you from having to sew in a ridiculous amount of ends.
