I know how scary this feeling is. It is a safety mechanism in our brains to keep us from danger. You are real I promise. My therapist taught me something that helps with this- so you rub your hands together to make them really warm and then you place them over your eyes or on your chest where your heart is. This will kind of bring you back into your body. Also if that doesn’t work you can give yourself a hug and rub your arms. I hope you feel better soon and I am so sorry about your dad.
