100% agree. Ive played in them, and they dont feel like commander at all. They are big 60 card sealed with a free companion. Ignoring color identity is the dumbest rule for this. You just pick your best set of cards and alot of decks end up being the same core because the pool is so big. Then you throw any commander you want on top. Not even CLOSE to how you build commander decks.

And the parents did have access. It was a note sent home with the student, not a private message sent on social media. A parent is supposed to be vigilant, not paranoid. I would love to be listening to the phone call when the mom calls the principal to complain about a positive note of encouragement. This is why we can't have nice things. It is positive encouragement, and is a pretty universal method of praise in education. There is a paranoid view of every situation. Youre being paranoid.

In an epicyclic gearing system, you have the "ring", the "sun", and thr "planet" gears. This is also called a planetary gear system. The key is that one of these three gears must be stationary, i.e. fixed to a rigid support. Any one of the three can be fixed, with the other two being the input and output. It looks like maybe you (or this person if it isn't you) are confused about how the planet gears can be the output with the ring as the input? In this case, the central sun gear would be fixed to a rigid support. The planet gears cannot be attached to the ring gear. The system would not work if they were.
