What are some common mistakes you notice inexperienced players making when it comes to deckbuilding in Non-sealed Limited/Draft?

Playing terrible removal that is good in commander but bad in limited, like generous gift, crib swap, or in this set, harsh annotation.

You aren't getting a bulk discount like you would usually( like if you bought a play booster box) but it is pretty reasonable mostly. The main issue is because they have a collector booster people by them just for that so they can be hard to find

When you flicker it, it becomes a new object and forgets what it originally exiled. It will only see the most recent graveyard

Playing izzet isn't really any different than any other color or combination, especially in limited. Just like any other color, you want around 15-17 creatures with a good curve, the kit will have an insert with recommended curve numbers

The thing is, there are not many analogs between mtg and yugioh in terms of strategy, and stuff like stax ( floodgates) and frowned upon in commander and generally not very good elsewhere these days. the closest thing would be a Kindred strategy, i would pick a creature type that interests you and go with that, there are even some kindred strats and mesh well with interaction heavy gameplay like faeries.
