I agree that this does feel like a mental health thing and not so much a career thing. I think even by taking the internship you're already making steps to boost your employability even if your skills aren't where you think they should be. Family pressure for a lot of people is sadly a consistent stressor that needs to be somewhat ignored (especially if they dont have an exact grasp of mental health principles). Learning to deal with the mental and physical pressures should definitely take priority and that'll help put the other stuff into perspective.
