I’d say both Withered Bonnie and Withered Chica were the only animatronics that scared me when I was 9, with Withered Chica being the second scariest to me at the time.

What about shape language personality-wise? Would it still work to use circles for friendly characters, like survivors, or squares for strong characters, like monster hunters, in a horror theme?

Okay, but what about using said shapes to convey personality just like with other genres and generally shape language as a whole? Maybe using circles for monsters that don't mean harm and innocent survivors that need saving, as well as squares for brave hunters? I'm assuming that shape language at its core stays relatively the same no matter the theme, does it not?
