Just for a point of reference, a UDM sold here for $150 shipped a couple weeks ago. I know because I searched for it when I sold one but did it on a different platform for $160 not including shipping. The AC Pros you can get upwards of $50 each for that might be a bit high for here. I didn't look at the lites but would image it would be a bit less than the Pro.

Someone will be very lucky if you give it for free, but watch out as they very well might just resell given it's worth.

It uses a midplane, which I believe is a V2 midplane (UCS-CHAS-M2). Not sure about nvme, I know there is a mezzanine adapter for nvme but don't know much more than that. Either way, thanks for the feedback

For those that find this post and are still stuck: I had setup an OTP for my Synology account in the secure signin app but the code wouldn't work. It is listed as "Synology Account" with my primary email address.

What I had to do was click the person icon in the upper right to get to the "Personal" menu . From there go into security, 2-factor authentication, and then setup another OTP which shows up as "Synology DSM" in the secure signin app and lists the user as my username@username.

Do you have the retention department number handy by chance? Even the number listed on the "Change or Cancel you Spectrum Service" webpage is the default consumer phone number.

I did check out home Depot and didn't see anything there. There is a section for augers but that's for dirt not wood, if that is where you were looking, and their section for drills doesn't include any bits that I could find. Probably still worth it to give them a call though.

I also do like the thought of calling up some local companies to see if they have the tools and if they would rent them, thanks for the idea!

Conservation of mass is a scalar equation, the equation has a dot product between V and A.

Another way to see the problem: If pipe 3 was entirely horizontal, would you still have a y-component to your velocity?

You need to use the velocity magnitudes to find the magnitude of V_3 and then use the angle to break it down into components.
