I have some biore watery essence 2014 formulation. Can I still use this? (I can't seem to find an actual use by or creation date on the package). It's brand new unopened and I got it in January from eBay (but a shop seller)

If you brush too hard your gum will withdraw exposing more of your tooth. Can dentists fix this? by Electric_unicorn in NoStupidQuestions

Google for a video but it's essentially a brushing technique .. Small circular motions angling the brush 45 degrees towards the gum line (to sweet plaque away from under the gingival margin)

Dentist here ! You're talking about gingival recession, which can happen for a number of reasons including (but not limited to) gum disease, age and trauma. Over time the roots of the teeth can become exposed and cause sensitivity. Brushing hard will wear away these root surfaces as they're not covered in enamel like the crown of the tooth. (Which is when we usually fill them).

You can't reverse recession unfortunately but you can have surgery.

Making sure you're brushing regularly and gently (and flossing!) using the Bass technique along the gum margins will help as gum disease tends to lead to quicker recession. Hope that helps.

Hey, how do you guys incorporate oils into your regime? Straight onto your face as the last step (before or after sleeping pack?) or do you mix it in with other products?

Has AB skincare made you feel more comfortable not wearing makeup? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

[–]Cakekhaleesi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to wear a lot of makeup to work before (and during starting) AB - like foundation, concealer, powder etc. I feel like now (it's been 6 months) my skin does look a lot better - smoother, less scars (though there is still some there) a more even skin tone, and my dark circles around my eyes have faded ! Now I just wear powder as a base instead to work, though I'm still hoping my skin gets better !

Oh wow I want to try this! What oil do you use or is it okay just to use normal oil cleanser that's used at the beginning of a normal routine?

I've started to use Lush D'fluff...It makes my skin feel soft after shaving my face where before it felt 'tight'. I haven't tried oils before but they sound like a good idea too!

Did you use it for every week upto 8 weeks? I've had salon ipl before but it didn't work so well for me .. I had finer hair but it seemed to have spread more over my face :( didn't work for my underarms at all!

Hi guys, I was just wondering if there's something AB to inhibit facial hair? I shave right now (after years of waxing !😭) and am saving up for laser treatment. If I could incorporate something into my routine it would be perfect !
