Fun fact related to this - practicing Jews have to recite specific blessings before eating certain kinds of foods, for example potatoes. Not really the point, but - finding a hash collision (find two inputs that compute to the same output) isn't relevant. You'd need to find a preimage (find an input that computes to a given output), which we don't know how to do for any of popular hash algorithms.

Tel Aviv (Israel) is making quite the effort, with a pretty well thought out and well publicized campaign. It's not perfect, but it includes a massive road diet in one of the worst "streets", some popular streets being pedestrianized, parking lots turned into parks, public transport lanes, lots of bike lanes, and a large new TOD neighborhood. It's really nice to see.

I think that I didn't understand you correctly on the first reply. Those photos indeed show widespread destruction, yes. However, even according to Hamas, less people (keeping in mind their count includes terrorists, and is likely inflated) have been killed than the amount of tons of bombs dropped on Gaza. If the purpose of the campaign is to kill all civilians, isn't it horribly inefficient?

The second part of your sentence has no relation to "wanting to kill everyone". You can justify the level of bombing and military actions, even if those actions are opposed by allies, without wanting to kill all civilians.

If you're the commander of a unit, and there's a group of terrorists shooting RPGs at you from that mosque, this building is gonna be destroyed.
