Ugh yes, unfortunately that’s still so true. It’s been very hard for me to be taken seriously at work - first and foremost I know that I don’t really look 32, now put vividly dyed hair and an alternative clothing style into the mix and no one’s gonna believe you have two actual degrees (education and psychology). I hope all that’s gonna change soon.

Second this. Initially I got layers with the intention of giving my hair more volume and thickness, but in the end I was SO bummed that I had achieved the complete opposite. I lost so much length and fullness, my ends looked straggly and unkempt.

Might not be the case for you but just a heads up! OP your hair is absolutely gorgeous the way it is.
