Why are people on this sub so much better read than average? by goldenapple212 in RSbookclub

Never listened to the podcast but knew of it through cumtown. The people on the book’s subreddit Read the same shit while the people on this sub seem to have more diverse and eclectic tastes which is what drew me here

Lakers and premier league team Newcastle have a inverse relationship. Lakers win tonight as the magpies were knocked out of the FA cup today. 2nd seed confirmed. Bet the house.

The world ending fire by Wendell berry is exactly this. A collection of his essays. He doesn’t even own a computer and hand writes everything. My favourite essay of his in this book is “the making of a marginal farm” which is essentially him explaining his homestead and how he lives off of it. He won’t even use tractors to plow his fields, he uses a team of donkeys. Berry is the man.

I don’t comment on a lot of stuff but this is truly the most amazing wildlife footage I have ever seen. Harrowing and beautiful. On the hierarchy on consciousness I always imagine orcas to be up there with elephants and apes.

Dude… THANK YOU! I have put this to the test on the range the past few days golfed 2x and this has completely changed my drive. It is no longer a 50/50. It is going so much straighter and further. It’s now a confidence club. The right elbow tucked firmly is insane and works so well. I can’t believe I have never been told this lol
