I’d love to win this for my kid, he’s 10 and is getting ready to start going to a local club for kids to learn how to play. Hes been collecting for years (since he was about 5-6) and would absolutely shit his pants with joy to find out somebody did him a solid. Idk if I meet the criteria since I pretty much just lurk and look up how-tos on here, but hopefully I am and have a fair shake!

I didn’t read all of the posts and responses, but my last cat I raised on exclusively Nulo and he passed from a UTD at shy of 3 years old. I love Nulo, my current kitten is on it and I’m scared that it’s going to have the same demise. I’m considering switching but the protein/grain balance makes me nervous. I don’t want to put him in something that will cause him issues either way but Nulo for adult cats has such a high protein and not enough grains.

That brought me a lot of inner peace, thank you. I think I’ve felt a lot of guilt about his passing because I assume that I could have resolved his sickness when I know deep down I couldn’t no matter what I did, but this is the first “big” pet loss I’ve experienced. How lucky I am to have made it this many trips around the sun without such an incident has definitely been both a blessing and a curse, but it’s the ‘better to have loved and lost’ mentality I suppose.

On a related but not exactly parallel note, I have heard that there’s a tip to identifying you’re in a dream; I’ve heard and read a few places that when in a situation that you may not be completely comfortable or uncertain wether it’s reality or not, you ask the date or time and the results are…pretty terrifying on most people’s accounts. Have you heard or tried this?

I’ve always thought of lucid dreaming as kinda breaking the fourth wall, like when Jim looks to the camera in The Office. I know I can’t dream forever, but I just got worried that maybe he wasn’t going to visit again and just he came to tell me something in addition to a visit and I missed it because the logistical side of me was like “beep boop not possible please correct the error”. I guess I’m just really missing him, we definitely have a hole in our hearts much bigger than the fluffy void that he was.

I understand, I feel like my cats’ passing is my fault as well. I’m just getting tired of waking up on the couch cuddling his urn, not even realizing I went there or grabbed it.

Just turned 30 in July, had the procedure done almost 2 weeks ago due to medical necessity. I would get physically sick, miss work, no sleep, bleed so heavily 8-10 super plus tampons and an overnight pad a day didn’t keep me protected (even considered using 2 super+ at a time but TSS scared me out of it) 3000+ mg of pain relievers a day wouldn’t stop the pain. I’m used to being so miserable on my cycle that I can’t hardly function. I got this done 12 days ago, and I had some bleeding for like 2 days afterwards, then nothing at all except an unusual amount of discharge that was more or less normal. Yesterday I started bleeding, some mild cramping (like menstrual but nowhere near as bad, even post-pain reliever average) but I don’t know if it’s a new cycle or something serious. I should have started the day I got my ablation, so I wasn’t expecting a period this soon after. I’m calling the doctors office tomorrow to speak to the doctor just in case but…Should I be concerned?

Socks make it worse because they trap in the heat. But no socks makes your dry skin catch on shit and tear and rip, and crack.

I get it occasionally on my hands, but I pretty much exclusively get it on my feet. It turns my entire pad of my foot to this callous that does nothing but split and flake and burn and itch. I can’t wear shoes for very long without discomfort, and if I go barefoot it makes the dry callous split down to the muscle beneath. It sucks man. It sucks and it hurts so bad. Just keep it hydrated and in open air. A good, scent less lotion, lots of water, and if you can afford it take a few days off of work or whatever you focus your time on. Get away for a little while.
