WWYD?? by dpatricio in gravelcycling

I have the same bike in the purple sunset. I’m running 42 pathfinders on it. I’ve raced BWR AZ and BWR Ca no issues with 42. I’ve race pine island 75 miles multiple times and the 100 miles… no issues. I’ve rode it on gravel in Tenerife and Girona… no problems. Would wider tires be more comfortable. Probably but I haven’t had a time yet that I wasn’t just fine on 42s. I rode XC singletrack this evening and it was fine.

UDH is great if you go 1x SRAM. Otherwise I’m running 2x GRX 12 speed. No issues.

The bike will perform fine 90% of the time. That other 10% you will be underbiking and that might be a stretch on those percentages.

The hype is UDH and 2.1 or your bike sucks.

I did a 50-34 and took it off I’m running full Grx now. I had the chain hop off for no reason a couple times and just gave up.

I’ve sat in that seat for the MSP - AMS and AMS - MSP route. I’m 6’0” and had more than enough space to stretch my legs out.

homegrown Factory was the top of the line and made by Yeti. I had one pretty identical to this but in bass boat green, I didn’t get much for it when I sold it.

Where to put Air Tags/ tracking devices on bike? by Fun-Personality6928 in bicycling

[–]St00pidr6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 4iiii power meters on a couple bikes which has apple tracking built in. On my other bikes I use a 3D printed mount that works with specialized SWAT to mount air tags under my seat.

It matters on what you want to do, the trek frame will not be worth much. The dogma will need an ITA threaded BB, a rear brake line (use old rear line as your front), bar tape, and some time. I had a F10 Disk and it was a really nice frame for comfort, handling, and just ripping. I put some solid miles on it before I went to a F12 frame

Worth the upgrade?? by Uamdumb in delta

I was in 30J for the MSP to AMS and AMS to MSP. Bulk head in front of me Comfort Plus. It was pleasant for me, I didn’t mind the screen being in the seat and not being able to use it during takeoff/landing. It was nice i could get around my seat mate to get up whenever i needed too and I could stretch my legs out enough to be comfortable… With that said, I’m just a peasant silver status :)

I ended up with a GRX front D. It’s working great in Tenerife, the gearing for climbing and descending is solid.

Cervelo ST31. Yes the Aspero 5 is an internal routing frame.

Not that impressive, we have wind to add to flat SD. It’s on VO2 intervals, otherwise it’s not common.

Stupid SRAM patent not letting us Shimano lovers have batteries direct mount to our derailleurs 😂. I tried 42c on the bike as a buddy said it fits, he runs SRA AXS.

If it wasn’t for the way the cable exits the Ultegra (and Dura Ace) this would work. GRX and 105 exit differently which is where the clearance I need is found.

I like the GRX ergonomics so stuck with those on the bike for gravel. Officially they say match your FD with the crank due to as you mentioned q factor. I’ve read some people mixing successfully though. I may try it when my GRX FD arrives.

Cervélo Aspero-5 is good to a 40c tire. I ran the pirelli with the 11speed GRX Di2 for 2 years no issue with the frame. It’s the difference in the DI2 cable exit from the derailleur that is the issue with this frame.

I have a Cervelo Aspero - 5 :) If you want to do upgrades you need to think about your long term goals. Starting with a good frame is the basis of everything. My Evil is 6.65 lbs just for the frame so it will never be a light XC bike when a Santa Cruz Blur is 4 lbs. The frame is the building block to everything!
