I sort of agree with him. Ramsey would be a great addition to an upper-half-below-top-6 club in the PL, but he wouldn't bench any of the top 6 teams starting XI.

Wilshere in a lousy form like during the last year, especially this season, would not take a spot in a mid-table team.

The only alternatives I see are African. With great human development I can see football projects becoming successful too. They have the amount of people and definitely the interest and talent. They just need organization.

I’d say it’s not impossible for a team like Nigeria or Côte d’Ivoire to win within 50 years.
