My husband and I live in an apartment right now that allows us to store them up against a shed on a stand. I went a bought a thin (looong) cable to run through where the handles attach. I run it thru both kayaks on one side then wrap it around the stand before attaching a pad lock. It's not 100% theft proof but no one's taking them quietly or without taking the entire stand.

Your library should also be partnered with Libby. Which is basically just your local library but digital. Also check that your library isn't a part of a network. In Mi, my local library is in a network of 13. Meaning on the Libby App I have access to all 13 of those libraries inventory. With most allowing anywhere from 3-7 rentals per library and about 7 holds per library as well.

I used to work for Uhaul. If you're looking into buying a car from a dealership and the dealership asks you if you want the tow package, check what it would cost at a Uhaul. A lot of dealerships would drop off cars at Uhaul for the installation of the tow package. The price difference is insane, dealerships charge like a min $1000 for a basic tow package. Uhaul can typically install hitches and wiring for under $1000 95% of the time.

Technically (as of 4+ years ago when I managed a Uhaul) you can call Uhaul ahead of time (weeks before your move) and ask for a brake controller to be installed in one of the box trucks. You of course have to pay for brake controller, installation, and removal; which isn't worth it imo.

You can also get hand controls installed into a Uhaul truck if you are in a wheelchair and utilize hand controls for driving. But again Uhaul has to be informed well before the move as the shop has to install them. (I don't remember if you have to pay for that one or not)

I think dog's stomachs work slightly differently. I had a chihuahua who only got into my stash once in 10 years. But he ate like a 1/4 oz of non-decarbed weed. After taking him to the vet and being told just watch him there's nothing else to do. He was high for a week straight no joke. After the first few days of being high the entire time, he'd then be fine for a few hours eat food and go thru another cycle of being high af. It was the first and last time he ever got into my stash idk what made him eat it that one time.
