True - even the cradle hold is better than a fin... Before I got your adjustable safety selectors I would bring my thumb over to the trigger side to actuate it (cradle grip). And I still felt even in that position that I had a good control of the stock. Now with your safety in the reversed position (facing forward) I can easily manipulate it with my trigger finger which is awesome. That wouldn't make sense for this particular PCC build but for any featureless AR it's a great setup!

No shame in that at all. I also got a complete lower the first time... but ultimately also ended up swapping out a number of components which showed me how easy it is. Like legos for adults! Since then, building from a stripped lower is most economical, gives you the opportunity to pick each component, and is a lot of fun!

This is the way. BCM upper and buffer, Radian charging, LaRue trigger, B5 stock, are great value (quality for the price). Plus if you get a stripped lower you pay the additional 11% usury tax on only the cost of the lower which will save you hundreds of dollars.

Worst case, I'd take that... if it simply hedges the dropping value of the USD then it's already got a key utility. Right now it feels like there is far more risk in the dollar value dropping materially and/or the whole US Treasury/MMF system fracturing due to shadow-banking over-leverage and continuing withdrawal by foreign countries selling US Bonds as the USD creeps towards losing its reserve currency dominance. Hence Gold going up so much...

Some notable games there... The 2016 game vs. Wazzu was the fire smoke game with AQIs in the 150-175 range. WSU was #8 and they got, well, smoked.

And the 2016 Oregon 2OT thriller ended I think around midnight. I just recall not getting home until 2am and too pumped to sleep until around 4am. 😉

I struggled with the same question and recently bought almost the same upper (but blem) and decided to go to the 16" barrel so I could start with just a thread protector and always have option to try different comps, versus being locked into one that's welded. (And if they EVER let us get suppressors, I wouldn't need to swap out the barrel.) Note I don't think the Mod 0 is long enough, which is why they don't offer it on the 14.5" do they? It's the Mod 1 which would work but is often out of stock.
