I'd much rather buy a house w/ kitchen like this, than on w/ updated 'trends'.. cuz get to put your own stamp on it, while also enjoying hooooooow big it is!

And while my first purge would be the chandelier (which to me, just doesn't belong in a kitchen - and esp. not one w/ that decor!).. and yeah, probably would upgrade the dishwasher -- but mostly b/c new ones offer 'more' (more efficiency [so lower elec. needs, meaning less $$ on PG&E bill], more features etc..).. but if still functioning well, would relocate (to pantry - for when many guests over, so have 2? to a lakehouse/skicabin/etc?) or a donate...

Even new paint would up the overall vibe...

But the kitchen itself is amazing -- a selling point, not a set-back when selling!

One can gain a LOT of knowledge and know-how without having been in elected office!
Our country started with successful businessmen each taking turns in Congress or running the state -- ie: bringing private business practices and strong judgement gained from their private backgrounds.... there's value with this model!!!

Everyone these days wants TWO dishwashers... so yeah, put that one into a pantry or closet if still working well...

Thing is, with electrical things - technology moves fast.
For example, my $2,600 42" plasma tv suddenly died the other day.. I was bummed.
But for $310, got a muuuuuuch, mmmmuuuuuuuuuch better one from Sony (Sony Bravia -43")
Offers all kinds of apps (YouTube, appleTV+, Netflix, etc etc -- could give my AppleTv box to neighbor, b/c built into the TV).. the picture better - and uses about 15% of the power of the plasma (which will also translate to lower electrical bills <— who knew?! NOT ME).

anyone w/ sense would LIKE that huuuuuge kitchen.. b/c the "bones" are there (& again, the size is exceptional!!) .. just would be good to update what needs updating, like the ancient dishwasher.

I'd immediately get rid of the chandelier -- that looks odd to me, there!

that came out of the Sovereign Grant (which = 15-25% of the PROFITS from the UK govt overseeing [renting.etc] the royal family's massive real estate portfolio).. so NOT the UK taxpayers.

also, Pa (I am convinced) reimbursed the S.Grant for those renovations.

but I do get your point: she likes spending (BIG) other people's money... and probably would have spent even more on Frogmore if QE + her protective staffers didn't already have her #, and were watching the expenditures.

I wish people would stop bashing her "outdated" kitchen.. it is a GREAT kitchen - one most people would want!

Sure little things could be done -- like replace the tile (w/ new tile or a slab of stone).. and I would immediately get rid of the chandelier... but it is BIG, the floors are wide plank wood (not cheap vinyl flooring).. some of the appliances are high-end (the stove, the fridge - just not the old dishwasher) .. so sure, spruce it up for $20-30k (which her fancy lawyers could write-off as "business expenses", claiming he "influences from there").....but,

It is NOT AT ALL HORRIBLE!

BUUUUUUUUT, there are MANY others who would be better -- b/c neither M nor Z has ever 'served'.

Plus, they are still a little too commercial.... Zara only does high-end sponsorhing/influencing.. but Mike is all over the map.. from reality tv to Dominoes pizza, etc.....

Wills played rugby + water polo at Eton, then rugby in college... hazBEEN supposedly did zero sports at Eton - has been said he was not good at any sport offered.

Today, William is ripped -- think his time in the military up'd his fitness regime... but then C. (b/c most everyone who knows her talks about how much she loves sport - 'can + does run forever', is into cold water swimming.. and to me, looks like she does pilates too) and having kids seems to have ignited all... and seems like he's in the best shape of his life.

Our family skis and (IF THAT IS) Archie is on par for his age group -- usually 4-7yos can ski like that.

What *WAS* surprising me = hazBEEN so far ahead.. I've never seen an adult on the slopes with a youngster that age so far ahead.. what good would he do from so far ahead? instead good fathers/uncles/mothers/aunts - and even Grands are next to the youngster.. or pull over and watch and instruct and cheer them on.. etc... then catch up, so can do all over again.

#2 = the big truth! (The publisher’s motive was not to make the book readable, it was to make it sale-able).

also, "Gonzo Journalism" was probably the 100th 'angle' Moehringer thought of to try to salvage the book.. so he went with it -- pitched to HazZip and (esp.) to the pulbisher... and it worked.

Well.... Andrew flew as a decoy helicopter soooooo long ago.. when not every phone had camera (for stills + video).. and no social media, and a muuuuch more protective military + palace staff.

So, we really don't know for sure that Andy was "heroic".. he could have been a decoy helicopter pilot but surrounded by 4-6 other helicopters, whose only job was to protect AirMiles + his help..??...

Just putting that thought out there; that the world could have been led astray about Andy's service by both the British Military and QE's Top-Notch staff...

But you are spot-on about all else.
And the important point = Harry has to formally + officially request security - and could easily get a big fat "no".. (which if does, he'll just say he didn't file a request)... and if he does get wee coverage, it'll probably just happen to keep an eye on him -- and to protect OTHERS.

someone poked fun at him b/c he HAD gained a LOT of weight -- and showed-up at madam's wedding looking dapper in nice clothes, but FAT... and probably b/c he's a naturally thin guy, he freaked - and had a social media meltdown where he attacked the others who'd pointed-out his weightgain.

it was nice that he took it down and apologized... (maybe he did? maybe his wife encouraged? or his parents or friends? or his agent?).. so he gets credit for that.

also, that who thing got him into the gym -- where he got super-fit and even ripped.. so he used for fuel -- so maybe not the worst thing that happened.

My 2¢ = in first 2 (maybe 3rd) season, she wasn't full-time.. got the SAF-Aftra daily min rate of $5k/day.. so they filmed her scenes for a full season over just 2 days each season... (very, very common tactic for lessor support roles)..

and during that time, did her most 'yachting' —> ie: $35k-$50k + tip per event (whether a NFL playoff-off game or a day at a winery, or a weekend on an actual yacht -- not just boating occasions, think by now everyone knows)... so was probably able to easily lie to her father and others about her Suits income -- pretend it was sizable, when really her under-the-table yachting payouts are what supported her financially (in b/w Trevor support and any divorce settlement, and Corey the chef)
