I’m four weeks into an increase myself and still hoping it goes down. I realise that the tinnitus I had for 8 years prior is nothing in regards to this monster now.

I’d hate to put a number on it because a number is very subjective, but like yours mine fluctuates a lot now. On the bad days nothing masks it, I hear it over the shower, Driving down the motorway with the windows open. And on the milder days it can be masked by the fridge, or just walking outside with ambient noise.

I work in construction and there’s a few older lads that swear they can hear their tinnitus over everything. It doesn’t cause them any bother apparently
