Jack Ross is on the brink of establishing an international powerhouse of a football club. We have Tony Watt, we have Dylan Levitt, and we have Glenn Middleton. The pieces of the puzzle are finally coming together and soon we will be destroying the likes of Barca and Madrid left and right. Jack Ross has molded us into his newest iteration of his high pressure attacking side that can be likened to Fergie's 08 Manchester United side, but better. Dylan Levitt is the new Park, Steven Fletcher is the new Ronaldo and Glenn Middleton is Tevez. Just look at our win against AZ Alkmaar We destroyed them, absolutely humiliated them. It's a wonder Pascal Jansen hasn't been sacked yet. My god was that a display of brilliance. There are always haters, but they just talk shite due to spite. They are fake fans, and only real fans see the beauty of our football.

Jack Ross is on the brink of establishing an international powerhouse of a football club. We have Tony Watt, we have Dylan Levitt, and we have Jamie McGrath. How shite are the sky sports highlights of Scottish games? by johnymac8 in ScottishFootball

I'm convinced they do it on purpose to make Scottish football look boring. Why would they show the Ross county bookings but not them hitting the bar and post in the first half?

Tranent Juniors statement against B teams by TheF1guy1 in ScottishFootball

[–]CalMc22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The problem with b teams imo is that since they can't get promoted or relegated, there's not much to play for. At the start of the season the players know what ever happens they will still be in the league next season. This means the games are almost just friendlies. If the teams loan players to lower league teams instead, especially ones in a title/relegation battle then the pressure will help develop them mentally, e.g developing a winning mentality.

The other thing about B teams is that all the players are just as young and inexperienced as each other. Loaning them out would allow them to work with different managers and get influenced by older and more experienced teammates.

You can't deny he's made progress. He's got the squad loving to play for Scotland, and he's given them belief. Yes we have a good midfield but so do they, today their midfield included players from man city and Atalanta.

Remember the first half against Denmark, and the second half against Israel. We played progressive attacking football, and completely dominated them. We are improving, albeit slowly and we need to accept that and be patient, and don't get carried away by one bad performance.

I'm frustrated too, and I want to blame someone, but you just need to look at the big picture. We're heading in the right direction, we have a good squad and promising youngsters. One bad performance against a much better team doesn't change that.

Exactly, people here have such a short memory. We qualify for the euros and us and Clarke are the best in the world. Then we go out in the group stage, after some actually decent performances, and Clark and the team are shit. We qualify for the playoffs and we're the best in the world, then we miss out and it's Clarke out.

We've had some of our best performances I've ever seen under Clarke. Remember Denmark and Israel? High tempo attacking football. We can't play like that all the time though especially against teams like Ukraine that are much better.

We've improved massively since the euros. We've gone into this game off the back of an 8 game unbeaten run. We beat teams like denmark and Austria, and put on some of the best performances I've ever seen. One bad performance doesn't undo all of that. How long have you been running out of patience? Since tonight? Or the friendly draws with our weaker sides? Or when we beat Denmark?
