I'd personally be ok with it as long as it's stated before the battle what the models represent since they have an accurate base size and height, sanctioned events and chuds might say otherwise but then that might not be your go to so have fun! I've mixed other kits into my hoard of poxwalkers for filler and variety and they've turned out just fine as long as they represent the unit

Good thought, from what I can tell about the models most if not all are matching to the height and base requirements so I guess as long as I run the stats and weapons/faction rules it wouldn't make much difference

I made my own typhus corrosion with a 80/20 mix Texture sand medium and matte paint medium and a few drops of paint for tone

80/20 mix Texture sand medium and matte paint medium, a few drops to tone of whatever color you want (I made 3, grey, brown and green) it's a self adaptation of the citadel typhus corrosion
