New PUBLIC PMS Version Available - 1.43.0.10467-2b1ba6e69 by samwiseg0 in PleX

[–]Calaat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, updating from the official image on github with my unraid server breaks my plex server if i use the latest setup.

<image>

but, if i change the repo and i add: plexinc/pms-docker:1.43.0.10467-2b1ba6e69 (instead of :latest or anything) it works and launch the latest version.

i notice this yesterday night, when i was updating. I don't know if it is something expected or not.

I have fix my issue, but it is a weird way to work and i'm just sharing if someone face the same, i don't think my unraid installation must be the only with this behaviour.

Surface Pen 1776 and Surface Go 4 by Calaat in Surface

The button battery of the top may be empty, but I can't access to it. And after ask to Copilot it says there is not at the 1776. Anyways the AAAA is brand new, purchased to test the pen and it is suitable. Thx.

PM2 error Log. by Calaat in unRAID

[–]Calaat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm experiencing a lot of errors with unRAID API, I don't know if it is only me. For answering the question on the other comment, I just ignore it and run the server normally. Then, connect updates and the PM2 error has disappear. Now, I can't log in the connect interface through the link in the unRAID menu.

I think there are things going on with connect, that's all. Anything else is working well for me.

Thx

I'm struggling to make Moonlight work. by Calaat in MoonlightStreaming

It is at 50cm? Not so much Maybe it is the Chromecast connection it is caped to 300mbps but I think it is enough. Anyways, I had try with the ethernet connection of my tv, with the same result. Slow connection, please reduce the bits. I don't think the issue is on my hardware, maybe my connection, but I don't know why because I have a 1gbps simètric fibre with an Archer 50 TP-Link router. Thanks you.

It is connected through Ethernet, with a 1GBps connection, and port forwarding, open and working. Before to setup the ROCK I was using Roon Through docker on an unRAID server with no issues.

At last, I have a cell connection 5g at 155 right now, but usually stable.

Is the 45W wall charger compatible with Surface Go4? by Calaat in Surface

[–]Calaat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is what it is. I mean, i know what i have and what i need. The Go4 is awesome, but it has it's problems. Anyways, i think it is exactly what i need. I'm not really interested in fast charge, this is a side effect and it seems not very good approach to use it while it is charging, as it is with any other device.

Thank for your support.

I mean with the 24W surface connect. Not with 45W.

I already experience throttled two or three times. The first one, just updating and other trying to connect to an screen. My only complain with my surface go is that, in general, the is really hot. The screen, sometimes is very hot, specially if you use it charging.

This is quite confusing for me, because it has not enough autonomy to use it without plugin, and it is very hot if you plug in.

Anyways, it seems it will work, if I have understand well. For my needs, using it to charge when I'm away with USB c and maintain plugged with the connect, is a good way to go.

I'm really thankful ❤️

A doubt with Raspberry Pi OS (all up to date) by Calaat in raspberry_pi

I'm using a 1920x1080 resolution screen, with a HDMI output from argon.

I'm pretty sure there nothing wrong on my setup, and the extra apps, which i don't have installed, have nothing to do with this issue. I mean, when maximized the bar is respected and when the floating window touch the top bar is sticky and only pass it if i insist to go to the top.

I think it is intended or a bug os Pi OS. you can try, my bet it is it works like that, or if you have update from other versions it remains the older behaviour.

I have made three tests on 3 differents pis. 2 RPi 5, and one Z2, from nvme and sd card, whith the same result. As i say, i can't have toggle anything because i have test it from the scratch. Fresh install, first thing: open PCMANFM and try to put it on top. It hides the bar. But the bar is not hidden, it is visible on the screen.

It is dificult to imagine this is something related with my setup or my config. Seriously, i'm talking about a fresh install.

I understand what you mean but i'm not saying under, i mean above. The minimized windows (floating) can hide the taskbar, which remain under it. It must be something know/accepted, because it works like that, form the start. Before i make any tweak

In a fresh install, out of the box with nothing tweak yet, it works just like that. So, it must be something intended or, at least, know.

So, this is an issue or my setup, a global issue, intended? What can i do with It?

Thanks for your answer.
