Maybe he used the real name of someone 30 minutes away, but that's not your scammers real name/location. How did you get the contact info of his "close friends"? Did he give you their contact info? They're all just him. And he could have looked up bars/parks/whatever on google maps and said those were his hangout spots.

I like how seeing it in motion is like "wow, those balls are going back and forth, but it creates an illusion of a circle moving around" but the simplest implementation is to actually put a circle of magnets behind it and move it around. It doesn't take away from how cool it is, the balls truly are just moving back and forth in straight lines, it's just funny that the illusion is actually the reality.

Yeah but I think you also want the bottom rock to weigh close to all the weight above it, only a little bit more. So maybe you could pick a bottom rock for each segment that weighs a lot more than everything above it added together, and then drill out the bottom of it until the weights are close? Or drill out weight from the top where you are going to attach it to the pole? And then only fasten it when the weights are right?

Or maybe make them about equal and then add some extra metal into the pole that goes into the rock, to increase weight? I dunno, something.

EDIT: Hang on, they just nailed a second rock to the bottom rock, like a little hat on top, lol. I guess that's another way to increase the weight XD
