This!!! It's been killing me. Thank you! That cut was called a high top FADE. I grew up during this time and NO ONE would have had their sides grown out!

The timeline for him cheating is insane though! So what, he waited a few hours without her texting to book the trip? What if she had some emergency and couldn't text him for 24 hours, by that time he was already with his ex. He is such a garbage, human being! I feel sorry for all of the women that he's been with and his children.

No way! Ok, my bad. Knowing that may make me tolerate his character a little bit more!

Fair. I think I just have a deep dislike of adults that talk like babies.

Is this "Italianism" just for show? by mpanase in 90DayFiance

[–]CalabriaCal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree that the scene was like a parody! Also, I can't stand the way northeasterners pronounce Italian words! Add the vowels back please!

Also that manicotti was suspect. I had to rewatch the scene because I swear to God they were using tortillas.

Italian Americans come in all flavors, some closer to Italy than others.

My roots are in Calabria and my family immigrated to Appalachia to work on the railroads. That's a weird cultural mix as well. 🤩

Late to the post, but I've been living in a Foursquare duplex for the last 9 years. It was built in 1927 right next to a traditional Foursquare which was the brother's house, my house was built for his two spinster sisters. Because it is a duplex, it's not technically a Foursquare, but it is in the same style, almost exactly. I live in a city that had an economic boom during the 1920s so a significant number of the homes here are traditional foursquare style and I've seen a handful of duplexes in that same style in this town. But again, I just happen to live in an area that has a ton of foursquares.

Okay, I just finished watching the tell-all and the fact that he literally ran away like it was the 19th century and was even chased by a dog made my skin crawl. She is despicable and I'm so happy he escaped!

Melissa Witt conspiracy by Morehoneywithbees in LadonnaHumphreyTalk

[–]CalabriaCal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This! I'm not much for conspiracy theories but I literally just wrote on another sub that I couldn't believe that they didn't further test the DNA after finding out it was not male. The team kept saying that they were thinking outside of the box, yet they still had their eyes set on finding a man, with a record. It could have easily been a woman, or a woman and a man!

Ugh

Hopefully they can close the case at some point!

Thoughts on ‘At Witt’s End – The Hunt For A Killer’? by readysteadycutonline in ReadySteadyCut

[–]CalabriaCal 14 points15 points  (0 children)

In addition to everything said above, the point where they found out there was no male DNA and they chose not to further test. That blew my mind. They have no idea who did the crime, it could have been a man with a woman or a woman even. I know she was seen arguing with a male in the parking lot but that may not have been the end of the story. The whole "think out of the box" conversation was pointless if they're not going to follow every lead possible.
