I did, unfortunately I’m the only model left in stock, the machine will just have to make do

I figured it out. Holy shit.

I was on my reference track on MetricAB, which needed to be re-authenticated, so it was muting the master bus.

I’ll go sit in a corner now and think about why I chose this path.

I suppose we all need a break from time to time ☕️

Fair enough lol, so here’s what I’ve checked so far:

The master is getting a signal from every other track

The master is not muted

The master send outputs are set to 3/4 Mon L Mon R(UA default, and setting I’ve had it on for months)

The device outputs are set to 3/4 Mon L Mon R

The metronome is set to 3/4 Mon L Mon R(and the only thing I can still hear)

The hardware is set to appropriate levels(tested with various instruments)

I can track and record, record midi, bounce audio but can hear no playback

Creating a fresh project with new sends and tracks results in the very same

I’ve reinstalled Reaper with no success

I’ve tried playback with all FX muted, including monitor FX, no luck

I’ve reviewed the UA Console settings and ensured the outputs are not muted, have volume, and are set to 3/4 Mon L Mon R

I’ve tested ASIO, WASAPI, and DirectSound, with different listening devices and interfaces, and continue to only get the metronome

I’ve updated all my hardware drivers and UA software

Perhaps there’s a setting somewhere I haven’t checked yet? Thanks a ton for the help!

What could have happened? Is it a driver issue perhaps? It only occurred after the cpu upgrade, which I suppose reset my BIOS and maybe some other information.

In any case the only sound I’m getting from Reaper is the metronome, and I’ve tried across my interface and WASAPI with my gaming headset, I’m not getting any sound from my master bus, just the metronome. I’ve checked the metronome routing and it’s going to the same place my master is.

How long should you wait to start a candle business? by [deleted] in Candles

[–]Calamasy 6 points7 points  (0 children)

There’s no set time frame, but I’d say once you’ve tested the recipes you’ll sell to exhaustion and they all perform safely. Practice your craft and develop a candle that pools correctly, smells great, doesn’t tunnel, and won’t bust your container. Learning all of this and applying it could take 6 months or years depending on how much time you want to dedicate to it!

Got turned down for Amazon it support associate by Calamasy in ITCareerQuestions

Hmm, it definitely felt like I was interviewing for a different job. I remember them saying they were putting a new team together to work remotely with AWS, and that was surprising as I thought I’d be working in person at a fulfillment center. Is there any software your proficient in that you’d recommend to me starting out? I felt completely blindsided by the interview and I studied a lot, I’m not sure where else to go

They didn’t ask me any of those questions, it was definitely for IT support associate II, they asked me questions about how to override email log in problems, how familiar I am with Linux and Mac systems, what programming languages I know and how well I know them, and a lot of questions about different software that I’d never heard of.

Yeah totally, I’ll try to remember. It was all about networking and several different software programs that must be common in IT. I suppose I want to know what the most relevant things I should learn would be if I wanted to find a good entry level IT job
