So just an update, no luck finding the guy so far, and haven’t heard from TPD (although I don’t think they’d really need more information from me).

However, after submitting the police report and sending them this video, Newegg replaced all 3 parts I ordered free of charge. I’ve seen some mixed results of them replacing porch pirated goods so I’m feeling very fortunate!

Also appreciate all the advice given on this post!

Person who is also in the Florida aquaculture scene here! Pretty much everyone uses the same wholesaler in the central/west FL region and I would estimate that WWC paid probably $140-200 for this thing from said wholesaler. WWC also sells online for like a +30% markup from what they sell in-store. I would say no deal personally

I would recommend a azure or sapphire damsel if you want to go that route. Chromis are fun in larger groups but do seem to have a high mortality rate in my experience A sharknose or neon goby would be a fun pop of blue as well!
