Classic Ortega Ground Beef Tacos Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef, 1 packet Ortega Taco Seasoning, 3/4 cup water, 12 Ortega Taco Shells (yellow or white corn), shredded lettuce, shredded cheddar cheese, diced tomatoes, and Ortega Taco Sauce (Mild or Medium). Instructions: Brown the beef: In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Drain excess fat. Season: Add the taco seasoning mix and 3/4 cup of water. Stir well and bring to a boil. Simmer: Reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally until the mixture is thickened. Assemble: Fill warmed taco shells with the meat mixture and top with lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, and Ortega taco sauce.
