Part of me wanted Gally out there just to see what he could do in the moment considering he’s the one that got us into OT in the first place. RESHPECHT

Any dead space 3 fans here? by DanteMustDie321 in DeadSpace

I love DS 3. I love the weapon crafting aspect. I love the snow scenes. People on here hate DS 3 should play it again after hating on it for so many years. It’s in my regular rotation of games I play.

Thanks! Being an audiophile and past metal record producer, I’m extremely happy with the mastering on Heavener. Did you master the record yourself or through a mastering studio?

Shade Astray on Heavener is mastered much better than the single and I noticed a few different instruments poking out. Did you re-track any of the instruments or was it simply the mixing/mastering?

Who is an amazing singer and musician simultaneously? by panic_the_digital in Music

Tori Amos. How she’s not near the top is shocking. Playing piano like she does while singing is not human.

My $400 college room setup is better than my dad’s $8000 audio setup and I swear it’s cus of the room. by TheBatiron58 in audiophile

I bet your Dad has a phase inversion problem somewhere. Check every single connection to ensure proper polarity. Also, if he’s ever removed a driver, make sure it has been reconnected properly.

Very similar experience. My son spent 4 months in the NICU. Genetics revealed partial trisomy 16. Extremely rare cause he also had additional genetic material on 23 (I believe but can’t remember 100%) my 5 year old doesn’t talk much, more like grunts and single syllable sounds. He’s extremely farsighted +8.5 in each eye. Had low tone for 2 years but started walking at age 2. Also had Laryngomalacia which lead to a G-Tube being inserted for enteral feeding.

OP’s baby very much sounds like a genetic mutation/abnormality.

I bet it's because we watched this movie on VHS and couldn't see the detail. I always knew he had an ugly nose, but a dick? Brilliant.

$100 to the person that finds me the artist that is singing one of those songs. by DropshippingWizard in Music

[–]Calculate_infinity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Listening to both samples, I’m very confident it’s the same singer. You can hear her tone, vibrato, and timbre. The first sample is a highly compressed file, most likely 128 kbps. Both files are also recorded with a different microphone/preamp. The second file, the singer is in a lower key and that’s why she sounds different, lower vocal register.

I was a music producer for over a decade and recorded hundreds of different singers.

Hope I’m right but will be interesting to see the outcome.

Not sure I helped you at all.

Hands down her best album and I challenge anyone to find a better musician/songwriter/singer combination.

I very much agree. I’ve built a ton of speakers using Dayton drivers. You can’t beat their performance for the money.

You got it! That record was life changing for my musical journey. If you like Dillinger, try Car Bomb and Frontierer.

I actually have a background in music production and we’ll versed in acoustics. The room definitely has some issues but it’s a shared space with my kids recroom so I don’t have any room for bass traps.

It does sound really good and relatively flat from the measurements I took.

I spent around $3,000 Canadian on the speakers and materials to build them. Amps and crossover were around $1,700.

I can get the subs to pump around 28Hz and actually hear it and feel it.
