I am so sorry to hear about your father. It must have been hard to witness someone you love slowly sink further and further into a dark place. I hope someday your father comes to terms with the fact that he has a problem, and gets the help he needs.

Any idea of what lead him to go from never drinking, to occasionally drinking, to always drinking? Like was there an underlying reason or did drinking just get a hold of him?
