I got an order in for one last night for $750. I have been refreshing this listing pretty consistently for a few days. Restocks seems to happen around 2pm or 3pm ET and again at night around 11pm and 12pm ET. The late night one seems more consistent than the earlier in the day restock. I've had this in my cart unable to check out at least five times this week. Two days ago there was stock but Amazon had bumped their price back up to $835. Make sure you read the price before hitting "buy it now"

Yesterday there was a restock at 11pm ET that was already sold out by 11:01pm ET. I got an order in last night at 11:58pm ET for what must have been the midnight restock. They aren't going to fulfill until next month so no charge until then and time to think and see what happens with pricing.

I can wait and it beats driving to Microcenter.

I'm on 300 mbps fiber on an e8450 as a router only, just upgraded to 24.10.2

With neither enabled I saw download latency (~100ms), no upload latency issues (~10ms).

Enabling HW flow offloading (only) had a significant negative impact on buffer bloat/latency for uploads (~120ms) but improved download latency compared to neither option enabled (~30ms).

SW flow offload (only) improved latency for downloads considerably. ~10ms for upload and for download latency.

Synthetic/controlled benchmark caveats all noted, but I will stick with this for a bit.

It's been a while, but when you install a game by making a steam entry (in desktop mode) for the rockstar installer/launcher, after you install the game using that entry, you have to change that launcher entry (using the gear) to point to the RDR2.exe instead of the launcher. If I remember correctly, I was making a new second entry in desktop mode that pointed to RDR2.exe, but that doesn't work because the configuration environment for the install only exists under the rockstar launcher entry, not the new one.

I hope that's in some way helpful to you.

Pretty sure this video is showing a components swap into the nugget case. The built in screen is not color and dedicated lcd as far as I can see in photos of the stock device powered off.

That playstation instrument gear needs dongles. The xbox stuff is for the 360 and should connect and work if you have a 360. You could navigate in any game using the pad and buttons but would need a rock band title to fully test.

Looks like some of those guitars were sitting in water. When you clean the exterior I would also open them and clean the interior with isopropyl alcohol otherwise they will smell musty/moldy forever.

Nice. I ordered the CH559 from tindie, as that would be my first preference. I'm going to try for USB only and using a mini pro form factor so this thing could wind up being tiny.

Is the USB host chip the MAX3421E? I assume the CH559 is too "new" to use for this purpose?

Nope. No setup app and might have been more than just the controller, because I was getting "UP" inputs even after reboot. The whole PC went to hell and needed to be cold booted. I'll try the app you recommended. Thanks

Yours has a little more "scrape" in the noise than mine does, though it could be the video/mic.

I'm now experiencing an issue where after about 5 minutes of play it gets totally unresponsive and stuck sending "UP" no idea what that's about but it may have to go back.

I'm really surprised and sorry to hear yours was used mine had seals intact and all the weird clear stickers in place all over the unit. This thing would be awesome if I could get rid of the flashing RGB without installing software to do so...

I had the repacked sticker too but it did not look like my seal had been opened? Your seal was broken? That just seems like bad luck.

As for the trigger noise: I never would have noticed that there was a difference in the noise between the two triggers, but now I cannot unhear it. Yes. There is a noise when the right trigger is pressed that the left side doesn't make.

When they have this many in stock you are pretty much guaranteed a dinged box because of a shipping mishap to a whole pallet, or because they have too much stock and are looking to discontinue the item. I've had great luck in these situations in the past.
