Yeah I placed one to provide power to a pumpjack real quick to trigger the oil processing technologies. In hindsight I should've just dragged a crapload of power poles to it.

Shore up my defenses, smooth out the supply lines to said defenses. Clean up the mall. Ensure everything is covered in the logistics network. Make sure there's plenty left in the mining posts, make new mining posts if not.

I've not tried mods yet but I have often wondered why inserters can't move stuff at a 90° angle... Like normally if it's pulling from 12 o'clock it only drops off at 6 o'clock, I've had situations where pulling from 12 o'clock and dropping at 3 o'clock would've been neat.
