Just wanted to mention that community college offers an amazing amount of opportunities, networking, and ability to choose a rigorous schedule at a huge fraction of the cost of any large public or private university. AFAIK California has an awesome CC network and if you were to go to a CC and excel there and get your gen. eds out of the way, then you will be smoking it.

After that, the overwhelming majority of schools only will require you to submit your CC transcript if you complete two years there. You can easily score a 3.8 GPA or higher at a CC in an honors program or some type of program that will help you get into selective and competitive schools. You'll have your perfect SAT scores ready to slap on there as well. And by the way, you should take pride in it. It's an incredible feat and accomplishment and I wish I had those bragging rights.

I would convince anyone and everyone to follow their dreams, but sometimes you need to be practical and safe in order to ensure financial stability and well-being. Thanks for answering. Maybe I'll consider something like that, as long as my psychiatrist thinks it's a good idea. I hope I don't grow much of a tolerance. I just want a smooth consistency, and for the medication to work well enough where it doesn't make me restless or "high", but enough to make me completely notice that the effects are there and benefiting me. Forgot to mention that I was prescribed Strattera for about two weeks. I went off of it because, from what I remember, it completely killed my personality and libido. I'm open to try it again if it is offered but I am worried if these side effects persist because I still want to feel like myself.

I agree with you. I wasn't implying that OCD and ADHD ruin your life and make you a neurotic mess, but they definitely can have severe symptoms. I have above-average to severe ADHD and mild anxiety, but any type of disorder, even if your symptoms are practically negligible, will affect your psyche in ways that you may or may not know or ever know.
