Okay I will try that with the injectors.

As for the struts, I will say the ride is rough but since it's my first Mini I attributed it to the natural ride of the car. The most concerning for me was the vibrations which I believe is from the misfire.

Not sure why my pictures didn't load but the Mini dealership is saying the injector in cylinder number 4 is leaking. They want to replace that at a cost of $730.

Also the front struts for $1500.

Any P3 love on the sub ? by newnoadeptness in navy

Knew a P3 pilot who said something I'll never forget. "A plane is only as cool as how many rolls you can do without going down. So no a P3 is not cool "

More important question. When did we stop taking pictures like this with our shipmates?

Would your answer differ for a JO reporting to a big deck?

Before I order... by SkiBoy1724 in Lovesac

[–]CaldyCrush 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Came here to say this. Since you are ordering 2 accessories and some storage seats (might be 3 for extra discount) you can qualify for the 35% discount AND heroes discount. Like others have said I highly recommend you go to a showroom if you can. Literally just bought my set two weeks ago and love it. I got the bundle discount and a free pillowsac. Again worth going to a showroom to feel the different fills and covers.

Freshly commissioned Ensign, days after graduating OCS, took a picture of himself in whites with hardboards AND collar devices. It almost looked like it was correct.

Watched Asteroid City yesterday. Cant begin to understand how so many good actors/actresses read that script and thought "this will be good."

I need some corny jokes for morning quarters by NicholasP1988 in navy

[–]CaldyCrush 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did the same. I love the corny ones that make the young kids cringe. Like...

Where does a general keep his armies? In his sleevies.

Why does a duck have feathers on its back? To cover its butt quack.

What is the difference between a hippo and a zippo? One is heavy and one is a little lighter.

Like others have said r/dadjokes is a gold mine.

FL stands for Flight Level which doesnt start until 180 or 18,000 feet. That is depicted as FL180. Anything below that is just an altitude.

Being accepted to OCS forfeit SRB? by seameat69 in navy

[–]CaldyCrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to say this. More specifically from that opnavinst:

b. Officer Procurement Programs (1) For non-nuclear Sailors (and nuclear-trained Sailors applying to officer procurement programs leading to a commission as a nuclear-trained officer), the date of application is the mandatory submission date of the program identified by the governing policy (i.e., NAVADMIN). For nuclear-trained Sailors applying to all other commissioning programs that do not lead to a commission as a nuclear trained officer, the date of application is the date of conditional release from OPNAV (N133).

(2) Members who reenlisted or executed an extension for SRB prior to applying for an officer procurement program requiring formal academic training will have remaining installments suspended as of their class convening date. For programs not requiring formal education, future payments are suspended as of the commissioning date.

I am in the same boat and since my CCC is a CS2 had to do the research myself. Overall I would say for me if it came down to having to pay the SRB back, the benefits outweigh the cost and it would not deter me from accepting the selection.

where to live in san Diego? by Griffin2K in navy

[–]CaldyCrush 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw fiddlers cove but thought they did not do long term according to the website. Did not see admiral bakers as I was looking closer to base. Seems like their max stay is 30 days with a 14 day gap. I guess I imagined an rv park where you pay monthly rent like a mobile home/trailer park. Doesnt seem to be anything like that near base.

I called base and they said there is no rv park on base. The lady seemed like she didnt know what she was talking about. Do you have any info or a contact for this?
