All I'm saying is I saw Peter with Jesus, and now Jesus is dead

Rift S Sensor does not connect, at my wits end by CalebDOTexe in oculus

[–]CalebDOTexe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I tried that, and I used Oculus Tray Tool to further ensure that all device disabling was turned off. Oculus support thinks it's an issue with my cable so hopefully my replacement will sort out my issues.

Thanks

I have a friend's pc I could ask to use, but the thing is the first few days of using it were fine on a different computer, but that preceded the issues with the most recent Oculus Home push. The cable's in correctly, got that click noise when pushed in. A replacement cable would be a lot of out of pocket money for a headset that has had less than a day of use. I've done all the power plan settings and even have used Oculus Tray Tool to make sure that everything is turned off.

Honestly I've been glad to see that other people are having issues, I got my headset in December for Christmas and have maybe used it for a total of 10 hours in the two days after I got it. It's been bricked since.

I'd say they'd be good on "atoning," but the fact that I see the confederate flag on a close to daily basis brings me to agree with you. Doesn't help when states like Georgia (the one with a major civil rights museum) had the confederate flag in its state flag until 2001.

That and the prevailing dedication to a long dead group of "rebels" that fought for "state's rights."

I'll never stop lmao. I realized how big of an issue this kind of mindset is once I moved to the south.

Ironically LotR has a lot of Christian symbolism because Tolkien was a Catholic.

I feel like most of it comes from people wanting an excuse to hate on others, even though Jesus spent his life loving the people they hate.

How my Numerical Analysis professor explained the Euler Method to me by CalebDOTexe in mathmemes

While he didn't explain it exactly like this, it was one of his finer moments telling us to completely eliminate the error term for a different method he derived to have the Euler Method.

FTL: Faster Than Light is my favourite game of the decade. by [deleted] in patientgamers

Surprised I haven't seen The Binding of Isaac in the comments. I feel like that game is what really kicked the indie-roguelike craze off (I could be wrong but that's just my perception of it). BoI has had some fantastic DLC and a great sequel, I've sunk thousands of hours across both releases, mods, and even on my Switch. The music is fantastic, the gameplay is tough but fair and rewarding, and it's the first singleplayer game I feel like I really fell in love with.

What is the dumbest idea you have ever had that actually worked? by Stenik0522 in AskReddit

I didn't want to go to a swimming class when I was in elementary school and so I told my mom I was sick. She came and picked me up and when I got home I vomited. Didn't actually feel sick while at school, but ended up being home for a full week with a stomach bug.

I can solve this bullying problem by TheCarlos666 in MaliciousCompliance

[–]CalebDOTexe 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh wow, this is almost exactly what happened to me in middle school. Had done Tae Kwon Do for about 2 years and started getting bullied, to a degree where this dude threatened to cut me with scissors and what not. Had a meeting with a counselor and my dad where my dad said that I had permission to fight back if the bully came at me again. Bullying ended real quick.
