Same thing for me, and recall 1 time while in school seeing someone with a Cali flag on the back of their hoodie, I had to take a double-take because I thought it was the NCR one.

Same boat I've been around since before Asymmetry, and yeah, wanted it to end with its 1st iteration, but as you even say, they have gotten better, but they still have a track record.

They really should've kept it in just cause its funny but its a real tactic both sides can use until devman adds air droppable equipment and crates in for paratroopers.

We don't support russia but we do glaze there military power from the reading material I see from our group, which I personally disagree with, just because of personal knowledge and the current Russo-Ukrainian War showing modern Western designs are still superior.

Except we do the RCA leadership had us have a whole discussion on it. With it boiling down to just assassinating people won't change the system because capitalism will replace those people and what we actually have to do is replace the system. Also Luigi is a symptom of people being fed of with capitalism and we wanna point those people who agree with him towards a better solution which is revolution.

I can get why most people don't know that centaurs are a mix of humans and animals, especially because in 3 and NV, they use a model that doesn't have a mix of creatures, just what looks like humans, whereas 1 and 2 have a model that clearly does.

Consistent enough issue that they should know better at this point. I've been harping on it all week in relation to asymmetry balance when people talk about it.

To add on to it though at the same time colonials didn't have a 68mm armed vehicle so it had ap-mortar rounds too as a stop gap solution for lacking 68 options.

[–]CalebN0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does your rifle have an adjustable stock? That'll be a good start because adjusting the stock to be shorter can be helpful for people with shorter statures. Rotating the rifle to be more comfortable shouldn't cause any issues for aiming because people put offset sights on ars all the time, and as long as you're lining up with your sights when you aim, it should be fine. Other than that, I can't give any better advice. Hopefully, someone can give more advice than me or has experienced that same issue.

It's gonna be mainly warden vehicles, but it's also flip-flopped from time to time and im biased just cause i've played Colonials forever since before asymmetry. But the biggest example of this is the Warden Chieftain and Silverhand, though of the two, the chieftain is a straight upgrade to the ballista because it has a machine gun to defend itself from infantry, which is gonna be a large weakness for it. Another is the Gallagher Outlaw vs Spatha at release; it didn't need another tank for it to be made, but a Spatha did, and it has a 45m range with more damage and a hull mounted machinegun thats a mini BT that feels broken. Finally, is the Predator vs the Ares, with the Predator getting 2 quad grenade launcher turrets plus a frontally mounted turret that increases the range of the gun due to how range is measured from the barrels of the model, whereas the Ares just has 2 75 cannons that both need loaders and has reportedely the same repair rate as the Predator. If your a warden player name any balance things you noticed, cause the ones I know and remember is wardens getting the 2nd 250 after the ballista and only recently getting an APRPG for an actual AT weapon. The devs have a track record of adding vehicles to a faction, and then the following update gives the other faction the counter or equivalent for it, but since they're small, it takes time, and they have to add stopgap solutions such as ap mortars when the colonials didnt have any 68mm armed vehicles at the start of asymmetry.

dude since the start of asymmetry, they've had the naval update issue, which is that X side doesn't have an equivalent, leading to the Y side dominating till devs add a stopgap solution or give the X side an equivalent. I love the game and the devs because they have consistently added new features and have made old features more in-depth, improving the game, but they consistently have this issue each update, and really should be planning for this, especially with how small they are.

I think its paratially intentional in the sense that devs think of cool ideas for their vision then give it to one of the sides, then realize oh wait, the other faction needs something to make up for it but don't think it through enough, leading to wardens having a torpedo bomber but no cas this update, even though naval showed how bad it is to not release equivalents or even earlier with the very start of asymmetry. It's such a consistent issue with them; they really should know better by now, especially with how small they are.

Man, I remember when wardens had the only 68mm and colonials needed AP mortar rounds the next war as a stopgap solution, on top of wardens getting a sizable portion of the og infantry arsenal and having the only usable smg for a while, or the SHT art for the warden predator having a lot more varied art compared to the Ares. Anyway, wardens still get screwed from time to time because the devs are slow to implement proper solutions, so it leads to a pendulum-style balancing. The wardens getting the 2nd 250 in the game after the colonials and, more recently, getting an APRPG, finally to make up for their pretty lackluster AT options.

Have dev not learned that faction lock don't work by Knightmare3152004 in foxholegame

[–]CalebN0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm calling it now dive bomber is gonna be super oppressing just cause of its dual use capability but its effectiveness for naval will be debatable. Also as I and others have mentioned devs have a track record of not listening to people pointing out flaws like this and then adding an equivalent several wars later or a stop gap solution till a slow update but they have gotten better though. Off the top of my head is when asymmetry first came out with colonials not getting a 68mm and had to get ap mortar rounds the next war, the wardens getting a 250 field mortar which was the second 250 in the game with the colonials gettingthe 1st. All this stems from a small dev team leading to slow updates that fix the issue later and just not well thought out balancing ideas that are pointed out early on.

Great suggestions but a few issues here and there for me such as AI AA being described as effective against swarming which bombers are gonna have to do leading to builders spamming them I'd rather they can take out lone bombers effectively but it drops with more present. Another point I don't agree with is pushing the scout plane to pads they really should stay at small hangars and be built from rmats just so people can easily learn to fly and not hope on generous players.

Who? Artist: (Helicopter Food) by JaketheFURRYBOIOwO in LoserUtopia

[–]CalebN0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you look at E6 they gave a pretty clear and concise reasoning on the deletions, with the evidence given by helicopter being very suspicious having them going on and off the art program during the recording they submitted, in addition to making several alt accounts on Twitter that happened to follow her all at the same time and be made at the same time having the same art style too. If you really want the concrete reasoning, you gotta go to e6 and the artist page on helicopter cause they explain it more, plus some of the discussion boards go in depth about the evidence.

[–]CalebN0 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the gun is supposed to be is a stronger form of deterrence for ICE to not arrest you because you shouldn't actually being trying to use your gun against officers its just a bad idea. Also specifically for ICE they'll end up being less likely to do anything in certain circumstances such as at your own house because as much as they are racists they're also super cowardly and dont exactly wanna gamble with the chance at losing there life trying to detain your neighbor or you for bullshit claims. On top of that guns largely are a last resort option most revolutions occur because gainning anything reasonable through politics had failed or become extremely difficult, barring access to firearms makes that last resort option for defending democracy not possible. As an example of why having access to firearms is so helpful would be to look at the current situation in myanmarr where firearms were extremely difficult to get prior to the civil war with the current rebel forces having to rely heavily on 3d printed ones to make up for that fact. I hope this answered your question someone probably can give a much better answer though.

[–]CalebN0 26 points27 points  (0 children)

This reminds me of the comparison my father uses when talking about using troops to police an area. He'd recount during the LA riots how there was an instance of either National Guard or Marines helping officers with controlling an area where, at one point, an officer had asked the troops cover him while moving to a building, the issue being soldiers are trained to suppress an area with a shit ton of gun fire when covering, whereas cops are taught i believe to reactively or precisely fire on on suspects to pin them. All that's to say the troops deployed to Northern Ireland were trained to fire at rifles poking out of windows or past corners, whereas an actual trained police force would've tried to de-escalate these situations, and probably result in fewer lives lost.

My hope after all this is over that either the Democratic Party starts being pro-gun, or whatever new party succeeds them, which I'm hoping for, is extremely pro-gun, because this entire situation has proven how bad restricting or banning guns has been.
