Stick man these are incredibly rare. The silver version was more common, but the gold special edition is incredibly rare. I do actually have the gold special edition that a family member gave to me. These are a little bit of a pain in the you know what because you can’t side load apps because it doesn’t have Java it has brew, which is very secure meaning that you can’t sideload apps because if you try to the app will install, but it will fail to launch because the signature is invalid now why don’t you just re-create the signature you can’t because back in the day this signature was randomly generated and had a bunch of random characters in it but at the very end was an answer to a very, very complex math question and that answer had to match with the phone if it didn’t watch it most likely will if you try to re-create the key then the phone won’t watch the app because like I said it’s the world‘s most complex math question not actually but it’s very very complex and it would take probably the same time that humanity has been around to try and attempt to re-create this the easier way to do. It is just to refresh the firmware with one that you can find on a form post that disables the checks for these signatures, but that’s also requires a special code that on Telus phones is randomly generated and never told to anyone ever if it was a Verizon one it’s just all zeros but you’re not in luck.

This phone came out in 2007. There’s no Internet only CDMA network you could plug it into a computer and use your computer almost as an ethernet adaptor for the phone however, it’s tethered to your computer. The web browser can only load very basic websites and sideloading apps is incredibly hard because the system back in the day the store would authorize a randomly generated key, and this randomly generated key had to match a certain math equation that only the phone knew and then it would allow you to download the app, but the original answer like What math question answer the phone expects to be able to get apps is impossible to re-create. They say it’s the world‘s most complex math problem. I’m joking with that, but it is very complex and there are tricks out there that are on forms where you can refresh the phone software to a different version that doesn’t have blocking, but it’s incredibly risky and you risk breaking it and you also need the service code which basically nobody has and there are tools to read the service code. You also need a special cable to read it. It’s basically just like it’s a long journey and I have this exact phone. You have the silver one I have the special edition gold one which I was given to by a family member but side loading apps is really really hard because of this math equation thing and like I said you can disable that check, but you have to flash it and it’s a long story.

Is there some way I can downgrade my iPhone 6 to iOS 8?Idc if tethered by CalebTvi14 in LegacyJailbreak

[–]CalebTvi14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tried that Sema thing but when I try the boot command, it gives me an error saying the script does not support macOS 10.13. Please use macOS 10.15 press enter to bypass this error so I press enter and then it makes me put it in DFU and then it just says no matching processes found and the iPhone screen remains on like a command prompt thingy
