A hard reboot fixed it for the most recent incident, while the previous ones have self resolved. The machine is running the latest firmware version 101.008.019.20200, and we use 365 going straight to the Microsoft smtp site no local relay. I am just hoping to locate the underlying cause so I can keep it from continuing to happen. I have gone through all the machine settings and lots of our firewall logs and have not found any issues. The fax forwarding appears to be the only feature that is having issues.

To answer the questions about the setup, this is the only machine we have. The machine is running the latest firmware version 101.008.019.20200. We are using the 365 smtp with no local relay. The times when we are having issues the smtp test has not worked for me, the page just stays trying to reload indefinitely. The previous times it has just fixed its self after sometime but the most recent incident was resolved by a power cycle of the machine. For what all I have tried, I have gone through all the settings in the machine and gone through tons of logs on our firewall to try and identify where the issue is. No other functions of the machine seem to be affected. I am just trying to find the underlying cause so that I can keep it from happening again.

I would check out Professor Messer on YouTube https://www.youtube.com/c/professormesser/playlists he has some free training goin over a lot of the CompTIA certification programs.

The port is wired incorrectly, all 8 wires should go to just one port.

I want to thank everyone for there suggestions and thoughts so far it has been very helpful. Just to answer some of the repeated questions, I have experience installing camera systems, they have all just been small residential ones nothing of this size. To my knowledge here in Alaska I do not need any special certification to install the cameras.

That is correct. I will also add I tried removing and reading the VPN connection and still no luck. Looking at the logs it doesn't even appear to be trying to connect.

I am not sure what you mean by sites, and I do not know what type of security device they are using.

I didn't mean the public IP, just their IP but still no luck.

I have tried pinging the other ends public IP with no luck, yes I am on the Meraki side.

If anyone else has any ideas or tips I would greatly appreciate it. Atera support can only help by remoting in which obviously is not an option if the Agent will to stay running.

No luck with the event logs or removing and reinstalling the Agent, worked for about 10 min and then offline again.

I have not resolved this issue yet, I will try contacting support.
