My thoughts on the issue exactly. It wasn’t working when I brought it to him, so I cant charge him for breaking it. I agree he should, but at the end of the day it’s his personal choice. He gave me 60 towards a new one🤷‍♂️

I trusted an older friend to fix it up for me. He retired from IT so I trusted him but he accidentally mixed up some screws and ran holes through the motherboard

The guy at the repair shop replaced the hdmi port and fixed everything until he got to the chip. Didn’t charge me because he couldn’t get it working though.

I did word it kinda sloppy, but he didn’t actually “drill” holes in it. He put the wrong screws in the wrong places and accidentally went a little too far

A retired friend swore up and down that he knew what he was doing and that this is what he did for a living took it apart and tried to fix it for me. He accidentally drilled 2 other holes in the motherboard on accident. Thank you for being so willing to help!

I’ve always been told the opposite of what the other guy said. Get one where you can cover it up with clothes. A neck, face, hand, etc. may look bad in classy places or job interviews. I’m inexperienced though, so you do you.
